During the summer and autumn of 2018, the ArtVan has been on an educational tour through Halland, where the ArtVan is a mobile workshop on wheels for clay and animation.

ArtVan is aimed at children and youngsters between 5 and 20 years old, with a purpose of letting them experience the extensive possibilities of art with different materials to work with. Tutor in this project is Friday Talik, animator and Artistic Director at Museum of Drawing in Laholm, as well as Elvira Roslund Gustavsson, ceramic artist and Artistic Manager at the Old Pottery in Laholm.
We give the audience an opportunity to try out clay as a creative material, while Elvira teaches basic ceramics techniques. Frida will work with clay animation and show what happens when an ancient material such as clay meets the digital technology of today. The participants can also try their hand at creating stop-motion film and experiment in front of the camera.
Art Van is a joint venture between the Art Express and Laholm Town Council.
